    Once again, I found that I have great success with my rigid 14"......:rolleyes::thumbsup:

    Seriously.

    I got one from Advance Auto. Less than $9. It's been on the truck for 2-1/2 years now. Reception is as good if not better that the OEM was. It's several inches lower than the roof line. Unscrew the OEM, screw this one on. Switch took all of 30 seconds. viola!

    Then again, I tend to use existing trails and not go ripping through brush on mountain sides....
