Chip Kelley has been "cleared" to join the SEC. Commissioner has said he won't stand in the way if Florida goes after him.

 

That will be an interesting hire! The east will change immediately!

 

yeah I find the LSU Florida permanent matchup that much more interesting with him around...

 

I do not like that idea, kinda scary lol I wanted him at Auburn BAD

 

Ill be glad when there is actually good teams in the east, Florida with Chip Kelly would be pretty fun to watch. They have the talent in the state of florida alone to have a good defense. Then with all the skill players OMG

 

Would still be an interesting matchup if you met in a different bowl

Saturdays game between Miami and ND was one of greatest games ever to me. I have been a canes fan since I was a kid in the 80s and I will root for anyone over ND. the 1985 game between those two is my favorite game of all time.

 

I remember Coach Jimmy Johnson showing videos of the (Canes...) beast lifting weights like gladiators !

It's good for college football to have Miami back in the top 10. Did the irish have a lot of injuries, or any other excuses for the outcome?

 

Miami played the best game they could have and ND didn't show up. the hurricanes are better than they have been in years, but I don't think they will beat Clemson in ACC championship.

 

Get past Auburn and we can talk. From what I saw against Texas A&M, LSU, and Mississippi State, I wouldn't be overly confident

 

from what I have seen else where, unless auburn just blows us out, I can't see a 1 loss bama team (especially when that loss came to a team that beat 2 #1 teams) not making the playoff. I mean Miami and bama are the only undefeated P5 right now right? so why would our 1 loss to auburn not be a better loss than everyone else's 1 loss?

 

Don't forget Wisconsin.

And your loss, if it comes, would be late in the season. Tough to overcome but it has been done. Notably by Alabama
