    Toddler Car Seat and some cardboard boxes in the bed.
    The descriptions on all the ones I've read make it sound like the letters come separatated from the grille (but in the same package) for customs reasons.

    There was another TRD Faux grille thread some time ago that did similar and if I recall it was a bit of a pain to put the letters on. Ex how do you "remove" the letters when one of the vertical supports goes right through the first "O" ?


    Hope to hear / see some reviews from those who rotorootered this for us :)

    Modded it so much it turned into a 4Runner
    Ordered just for the hell of it. I have an OEM grille with broken tabs from a wrecked pro sitting in my garage. It's pretty flimsy and I'm interested to see how the two compare.

    On the one I received the middle section and the tss emblem space are separate inserts that screw into the grill from the back, it came assembled.

    I can't comment on the $140 version found on eBay, but I can comment on the Van Kulture version (https://www.vankulture.com/product-page/toyota-tacoma-trd-pro-replica-grille) which was a perfect fit and very high quality. There's is $200 for the grill itself, then $50 if you want the letters. You have to drill and install them yourself, there is pre-marked holes on the back which make it very easy.

    I notice the cheaper eBay ones have the letters already on them, and the lines behind the letters appear thinner in the photos.

    That's probably because you have to screw on the letters where the ebay one looks like it's all one molded piece. Doesn't look like letters come off individually. This may make it harder to paint if people want to do that.

    Actually if you look at the official TRD Pro Grille, it has the thinner lines like the ebay one, not the VanKulture one. I don't think it matters, most people wouldn't notice that.
