okay so here is the rundown:

Went to Toyota and they installed a 4" zone off road DB lift. At this time I also got new wheels (fuel) and tires (ridge grapplers) 33's on 18. Anyways, ever since all of this work was done it has a vibration once it hits around 50 mph and up. It's not a violent shake but it's a shake none the less.

I have brought my truck back 3 times. The first two times they re balanced and did an alignment on their machine... each time it still has the vibrations. They ended up sending it to the guy who did the actual lift install and he had his guy do an alignment (his guy does it old school and hand measures everything) he said Toyota was trying to do alignment based off of stock specs and not compensating for the lift..... wel long story short I got my truck back and it is still experiencing vibrations around 50mph.

Toyota swapped out the wheels with a set of "known good" wheels and they were still able to feel a shake, that's when they sent it off to the lift guy. And that's when the lift guy said it wasn't aligned properly and got his guy to re align it.... but it's still got The vibrations.

It's so frustrating because I love the look and ride other than those vibes. THey promise to keep troubleshooting it until its resolved (which is why I went through Toyota). Can anyone give me any advice?

It eliminates the vibration. Watch the video helps explain the cause of the vibration.

A bad Needle Bearing will not make a vibration in the steering wheel

Wouldn't it have had vibrations before the lift and wheels, if it was the needle bearing?

Ya know what? Honestly, I do not know because I haven't driven in 4wd over 50 MPH since getting the lift. I will check and see.

I had it as have many others and it does not cause a vibration in the steering wheel.

That is definitely nothing to do with a Needle Bearing. Aftermarket or stock UCA's? But a shake in the steering wheel is generally a tire balance issue.

I appreciate the feedback though guys. I appreciate y'all taking the time out of your day to try and help me troubleshoot this. Really sucks cause I spent over $4000 all together so that's why I keep insisting for it to be right.

Stock UCA's. And yes. That's what hey always assume it is..... the wheels. But they have balanced and rebalanced my wheels 3 times, and also alignments 2-3 times. Don't understand why it would be so hard to get it right. That makes
Me think anytime I have my tires rotated/balanced/etc I'll be dealing with this (if this is actually the cause).

Also another thing I mentioned earlier, they swapped tires to a "known good" set of wheels, and they said they could still feel shake?

It's a balance issue. Take it to a reputable tire shop (preferably with a road force balancer) and tell them you get a vibration & 50mph.

I had the same issue with mine when I did the tire rotation, I re balanced them and them & poof. Problem gone.

Sounds like maybe the shop did a shitty job putting the drop bracket lift in.

Grump nailed it. A vibration like the would suggest that you need a high speed balancing. I had that in my 08’ taco when i lifted it with 285’s. The wheel weights were way off.
