Rack rebuild kit (if available for the taco) or buy a reman... or if you got the cash buy new. I rebuilt the rack on my Honda and it wasn't too bad. Much much cheaper than a whole new rack- 49 bucks vs 300. It is really leaking from the rack itself correct? Not losing fluid somewhere else?

Wtf are you saying lol your leaking fluid but your steering feels fine? Find the leak and fix it or just replace your pump

Yeah well it was for an older Honda and it was 49 for the rebuild kit is what I meant and about 199 for the reman. Honda wanted about 300 for a completely new rack.

I dont remember there being a "hose connection" on the passenger side. If I remember there are two "hose connections" on the driver side, near the steering wheel input shaft and that was it.

I replaced my leaky rack and pinion with an oem one I found on ebay with 10k miles.. think it was like 300$ shipped. To rebuild it was going to be around that If I remember so I figured I would rather just have an oem one with low miles.e

I don't know. I have no idea where its leaking. Is the hose loose or do you need a new hose?

Honestly if you do need a new or rebuilt rack 800$ with parts+ labor isn't bad.

EDIT unless you want to save some $ and you have the tools and ambition to do it yourself
