I dread the day Betty can’t make a wheeling a trip and I have to ride along... I can’t imagine how many beers I’d drink! o_Oo_Oo_O

No one said spend $500. Some choose to, fa sho. I got my setup with a tacklbox full of spare parts, and everything to run it for $125. Some people just need to know how to bargain!

    Awwww

I can't believe how many beers I would drink if I didn't drink beer.... I kinda like being a passenger sometimes, then I can just drink beer and let the woman bang up the truck.

I just threw a number out there.

I will prob end up trying to find a good RC Crawler for Christmas or Black Friday somewhere... cause I can't be left out while everyone is playing with toys.

    Shouldn't we all be.

Sooner or later it will be trying to plan the next meet up to play with RC cars instead of actually driving the trucks on the trails...

So not to derail the RC Thread, but would anyone be interested in a trip to Cross Bar Ranch in Davis, OK to cut new trails? There's a 6,000 acre park up there that was previously just for dirtbikes, SxS and UTV's. They've started allowing full size vehicles, but need help with new trails, widening trails and trail markings. @Tundra2Play talked about possibly going when the topic came up at the last TX4WD meeting. Might be kinda cool to make your own trail and put your name on it.

I don't see how I can hate from outside of the RC club—I can't even get in!

But it is not in Texas?

Sounds interesting though to make some new trails.

This thread died when @Zac of all trades handed it over to a prerunner owner...:anonymous:
Guess its time to start a new DFW thread for people that actually wheel their Tacomas. I wont be getting into R/C, I have my prioritys straight and need to save every penny I can to pay for the new bumper that I plan on ordering next week. I wont derail my truck mods for a toy when I would rather be out on the trails in my truck.
    :mudding::mudding::mudding:
I probably will limit my wheeling for a while to start working OT again and make the money to pay for the new bumper. 60+ hr work weeks will help me to get bumper money(aka pay off the CC its going on).

I don't know either early December or sometime in January. I havent been there myself, but apparently they have a loop trail thats about 15 miles long but most of it is rated around a 2. There's other trails but currently too narrow for a full size without some major scratches.
Shots fired! Plan it right and you can do both. See Zac's photos from Bridgeport. :boink:

I can tell you who won’t ever play with my toy when we’re all having fun, AFTER we’re done on the trails, at the camp site....:thumbsup::thumbsup::rofl:

:quickdraw::infantry:Theres an entire r/c thread for those that are into them. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/anyone-into-r-c.26269/ but this is a local BS thread so talk about what you want. I'm just in a shitty mood today, nothing personal to anyone. I'm just an a-hole sometimes and have to control myself at work so I dont get fired for saying something stupid.
Yeah I saw Zac's pics. I have other CC debt I need to pay off also. Priority's do not include r/c that I will rarely use. I had a Losi 8ight-t Nitro Truggy for a few years and it wasnt used often so I sold it a few years ago. It was fun and fast!

I'm good with that. Everyone can enjoy playing with what ever toys they want. I'm not holding anyone back.

It's important to point out that you had beer available for the driver.

    It's courtesy, really.
