    I would bet that Toyota, knowing how much these trucks are off-roaded. will have some way to turn off the collision prevention system. On our Subaru --all it would take is putting something in front of the 2 stereoscopic cameras to shut the system down. No big deal but kind of a cheesy way to do it. Just wait to give the mfr. (Toyota) time to let You know how it is to be shut off. Patience my friend!!

    You can also shut your Eyesight off by pressing and holding the button (that looks like cars crashing). No reason to put anything in front of it. All car companies will have a way to shut this stuff off.

    The Eyesight will lose its shit in automatic car washes where the car is on and moving forward. Thats the only time I have it off.
