Got really lucky after deciding I wanted a top about 2 weeks ago. I got some great eyes on TW and had a member locate me 2 different toppers within a 3-4 hour drive. I ended up deciding on the one that had a rack already to one that had the place to mount feet and a rack. I drove 4 hours and got this one for $850. It has everything I wanted and needed. Way better than the top I had quoted for $2437.50.

Just thought I'd share...the look of the top is growing on me...I was never really one to go for a top until I wanted to take all our 4 dogs with us on vacation next summer comfortably and save my interior and wet okoles. I think my 5 year old shepherd approves.

Finally got around to fixing the CL shell. Sanded, primed, and monstalined. Built in a sleeping/storage platform for camping trips. Before, during, and after

Here's mine with a SnugTop. I've had it quite a few years and I love it, especially to keep all my work gear out of the elements. Not sure the exact model for you all. It has a manual locking rear lift window and side rear vent windows.

Can anyone chime in on how long it took for your ARE topper to be delivered to California?

i got mine at a local shop, someone had ordered it, when they showed up to pick it up they said they didn't want it bc it was too expensive. so i waited about two weeks, went into the shop and gave them cash in hand. so i cannot say how long it took. i think they had quoted me a couple weeks to get bc it was the first year of the magnetic grey.

Nice. Do you have a pic with windows closed?

    Also, which exact model? 100XR?

How much did the sliding windoor option cost?

I believe it is an XR, been about a year since I got it. All in all it was about $3,500 with the carpet kit. Both side windows have the sliding windoor and I also had them hookup the poplock so the tailgate and back window unlock with the key FOB. Don't remember the specifics of how much each part was.

I've got a front runner rack for the shell but am waiting to upgrade the suspension before adding more weight to the back.

Where are you located? I went to American Camper Shells in Garden Grove if you are in Southern California area.

Be sure to check for Raider and Century dealers in your area too. I was able to find the Raider equivalent of the 100xr (same shell, same factory) for about $500 bucks cheaper than the Leer dealer in town.

Anyone know of a website where I can order this part. It’s the black that holds the latch.

I did the opposite, windoor on passenger. I wanted access 'off of the road' if I had to pull over, to the side of the road, to access the back.
