Seems kinda blasphemous to drink W.L Weller Special Reserve out of a Crown Royal glass.

I just got the bottle of Weller last week. A little smoother and fruitier than the George T Stagg. I love most of the stuff that comes out of Buffalo Trace.

Currently, this shit. If I’m treating myself...or don’t feel like drinking beer...a glass of this on the rocks and I’m happy as a clam. Luckily being a local and good friends with the bartender, I get doubles for the price of singles. So I sip happy all night :)

This is where I started.... it went downhill from there. lol

To give you guys an idea oh how much i love this "hobby", I get exclusive invitation-only sales from BevMo. Just snagged a bottle of Forrester Birthday Bourbon for $90. Shit is $300.... if you can find it. This is the second one I got. Also managed to get Pappy Van Winkle for $90.

I actually thought he was lying about the costs. So I looked it up on my phone. This is the first link I found. I think he got through a distributor.

Yeah. This is a "normal" price. I think regular retail is only $120... if you find it.

BevMo sent me this invite once.... I'm still laughing

That’s not Pappy Van Winkle... and it’s highly overrated. Get a bottle of Weller 12 year. Same recipe. Same distiller.

    Sure is.

    https://www.liquor.com/expressions/pappy-van-winkle-12-year/#gs.TJF5n4Q

But I agree. When I opened it up, it smelled and tasted like spray paint. Took a couple of weeks to actually open up and taste like bourbon. It is delicious, but not $600 delicious.

I can't keep a collection... I have to drive to the store to refill, soooo I prefer not to do that and just dip into what I have instead of risking it.

Pig's Nose one is hilarious though. I need to find that. My nickname in school literally translated into that.
