Toyota is going to have to answer back with a diesel tacoma. Looks like a pretty good set up, front and rear locker with a 2.8 liter duramax. I really like the back bumper set up.

Tacoma been out for like 20 years. ZR2 1 year. I dont think Tacoma needs to worry that much. Plus you cant even test drive a ZR2. Who buys a truck you cant test drive?

Did the same thing. It is the first vehicle that I ever purchased without test driving it. Sat in the front seat just to make sure i would fit comfortably and the rest is history. My friend though i was crazy for not taking it on a test drive.:D

I didn't test drive mine either. I started the truck, sat in it and looked around while it was running. It was 1 year old with 11k on it.

What in the actual fuck guys. I dont understand how you can spend so much money on something you did not even try. My tacoma is my 1st vehicle. I can not imagine buying it with out test driving it. Now I did not test drive 'my truck'. Just the exact year and model, mine was on a lot with 25KM on it when I purchased it.

You’ll love how I bought my truck then. Quicksand isn’t the easiest colour to come across, so when I found it. I had signed the papers electronically and owned the truck “technically” before even seeing it in person or ever drive a Tacoma before that

That's ballsy. I am glad I test-drove a Tacoma before buying mine. I had driven only cars and minivans before. The test drive was important to reset my expections of the truck's larger size, weight, shitty brake pedal feel, and squeaks/rattles.

The truck was an hour away, i knew that’s what i wanted so didn’t want to waste my time. It is a bit silly but I don’t regret it whatsoever

True, I had owned a gmc canyon before and knew what the tacoma was about, I wanted one back when I bought the canyon but couldn’t afford the taco then. And coming from a jeep, with soft top, one of the most unrefined daily drivers, the tacoma is like luxury

If it makes you feel better, some people buy $30+ million used aircraft sight unseen. Comes down to supply/demand and product knowledge level.
