I've used the search button and couldn't find anything specific to this enough. okay onto the point..

This is the first time experiencing this but I am hearing weird popping noises coming from the driver side, i cannot tell if its coming from within the engine bay or more fixated towards the wheel well... is anyone else experiencing this? i'm sitting at 9600 miles on a DCLB 2017... it is however -1 degrees here in fairbanks, ak today, yesterday it was 24 degrees. I feel like i need to do the diff drop regardless. I have added bilstein 5100's all around with ome 887's and i've checked the suspension and nothing looks to be lose or damaged. it's mind boggling me because the flaps on the CV boot aren't really rubbing either. any ideas gents?

no. It’s one place I’d check if you did an alignment after the lift. Look up the torque spec before you do it.

if its a popping noise coming from the wheel well, that is A dead give away of LCA bushings going bad. Doesnt always mean thats what it is...but 99/100 times, it is.

On the flip side, just as the other member said, it may just be a loose bolt on the LCA causing the arm to slam back and forth as you drive (stop/go/turn)

    absolutely!

I also had 2 xmsn solenoids go bad and toyota said they "never" go bad (at 65k miles). which is true for the most part...except this time. I replaced them and proved them wrong.

Shit happens. Most likely a loose bolt if you just had an alignment for the lift...but I also know its the dead give away of the bushings going bad. Should be under warranty still (LCA) so toyota should check it out for free (unless they give you the "new suspension voids whatever" talk)

    list is growing fast
I had alignment cam bolts loose after an alignment recently. They weren't torqued properly. I had a popping and creaking sound.

I also had my sway bar tapping against the front skid brackets, that was from my swaybar relocate brackets bumping it down too far. Some washers for spacers on the skid brackets fixed. kinda sounded like a light popping or tapping...

    GL finding the culprit.
