Excellent, glad you took my comments as I intended them  (doesn't happen all that often), but does add to your rep. Personally, I will be anxiously awaiting some documented results.

@OVTune Sorry if this has been clarified already, I've been reading so much info between the second and turd gen threads that I can't remember if a Black Friday discount will be applied to the current price or is the current price the most discounted price available to us?

I don't normally like making bad decisions but blowing money on a tune sounds irresistible lmao

Edit: searched some more, from what OVtune posted a little while back about 25 handheld tuners will be for sale around Black Friday with an added discount. If I read everything correctly

Discount is applicable right now if you input it on there website, I don't believe it changes when black Friday rolls around.

Do you know if there's a discount code or if the price listed on their website includes the discount?

Here's the original quote, TBH don't know if there are any left or if the code is still valid, I think he said he had 11 left about a week ago for the handhelds.

    Ahhhh

I’ve been battling myself, debating if I should just switch to the self-tuner, and try to find a local tuner..

Your call. I'm talking with many, still haven't decided on one or another. Just remember, anything that happens on that dyno is your problem if it goes south, all OVTune did was give you the reins to do as you please

I thought this also. But I know @OVTune is here participating in the forum, he’s putting in the time and effort and is making his reputation with 2nd gen owners. I paid for a handheld because I know no dyno folks where I live. If my truck is improved I’ll sing OVTune’s praise, if my truck doesn’t change or gets worse..I’ll PM until I’m feel I’m beating my head against a wall then I’ll consider the next step.

I’d rather buy a handheld unit from OVTune than risk having to figure out tuning my truck with someone not banking their reputation on this forum.

    This is good.
I’m sure OVTune will have some great tunes. I was just debating the self-tune, because I’ll be adding on an SC next year.

I'm confused by that statement though. Are you waiting for someone else to figure it out and see if its worth while to go self tune, that's what I'm getting from it lol

Nope. I have enough to figure out at work. I’m convinced by all the previous post in this forum that OVTune has/is figuring out what is best for my truck and I can just plug and play with his research and decision.
