    yeah I know still fucking bs though... fucking apartment complex doesnt have corner mirrors and all the guys here always blow thru the lot (he admitted he was in a hurry for work, and wasn't paying attention.)... but I had my fucking brakes compressed, I was coasting back and had just stopped to check and shift to 1st and the brakes lights were on

    But I've been thru this bs before and its always to guy pulling out of the spots fault, for insurance purposes.


    it looks like I just pushed his headlight back into the fender, damage seems to be isolated to the fender and broken headlight tab. I can't imagine this is really that bad... I took a quick look at it and thats all the damage I could see. Honestly the combined speed couldn't have been more than 5 MPH, it was just that my bumper is stronger than his fender....

    There was no crashing sound or anything.

    yeah yeah... was shifting to 1st had just stopped or was "stopping" had brakes applied thus BRAKE LIGHTS!!!


    PS: this is the second time I've had this happen... when I first got the truck, a drunk driver in a small nissan older truck going about 40 mph in a 25 mph zone (driving at night w/o lights) hit me backing out of a blind parking spot. He had no insurance and was drunk. about $2000 worth of damage to the back of my truck and his was totaled!

    ah that seems a little bit different you were already on the road shifting in to 1st to drive ahead hence no reverse lights and he basically rear ended you???
