My manual was 35k msrp. TRD off road manual with the tow package. They knocked the price down with incentives as per usual.

By the way, I postponed buying a 3rd gen based on all the negative reviews about shifting, howling, etc. However, I haven't experienced any of these issues. My 2 cents.

For that price you can buy it, drive it for 20k and sell it for same price

Just realized that the dealership was giving me the quote for a manual and "forgot" to include the dealership fee of $699. The automatic version costs about $700 more. So the NEW out the door cost is: $35,500.

I would forget this one and buy a 2018. This would have already depreciated a full model year.I would also go to a dealer that doesn’t add a $699.00 profit to their truck.

I am finding that most dealers charge some sort of dealership fee ranging from $700 to $1000. I kinda just include it with MSRP really.

Yeah, but I am getting $3500 off MSRP which I probably won't get with a 2018.

Here's something for future reference too. They changed the price of my truck like 3 times for me. What the salesman told me, what the manager quoted me and then when I went back in financing they reworked the finance rate in my favor a full 1% and threw in the extended warranty. Added like 9 bucks a month to my finance price.

I looked it all over with a fine toothed comb. They made less than 1000 selling me the truck but I haggled with them on everything. I had no intention to buy but they gave me everything I asked for so it was hard to say no. I was looking for literally any reason to leave.

Also it's much easier to negotiate with them when the damn truck is sitting on their lot costing them money as it is special ordering something.

I'd shop around and find what you're looking for already delivered. Get there early and start hammering the sales guy first thing.

Dealer fees are normal. Mine was 960. And tagging my truck for 1 year was over 600 dollars

Did you include the dealer hold when calculating the $1000.00?Dealer fees are not normal. I haven’t paid a dealer fee on 6 new vehicles. All were purchased at or below invoice. The dealer made plenty of money off of me.

What's a dealer hold? I calculated their profit based on invoice pricing on items in comparison to my out the door price and my trade in. I did forget to mention they gave me way more than my trade was worth. Like thousands more.

The dealer hold is 2-3 percent included in the invoice price.

I believe the Off Road is not part of the recall at least that's what the dealer told me
