AR-15 BS Thread

Didnt find much for Grendel on psa. They have a great deal on a 6.5 creedmore upper though.

I saw some pistol caliber stuff there that would be pretty fun. Maybe a 45acp ar15 rifle (dont want a pistol, might try to SBR it eventually)

 

Anybody have experience with karri guns? I'm thinking about ordering a 16" ar15 upper in 9mm but mixed reviews have me worried.

I really can't make up my mind

Maybe someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't it look like the charging handle will contact the cheek riser on that stock if you have it in the collapsed position? Depending on what length of pull you like, it might be a pain to have to extend the stock to charge the rifle and then readjust it everytime. I tend to keep mine extended abit and only collapse them for storage, but everyone has their preference. If you like your stock long then I don't think it'll be an issue- just something I noticed.

I've been trying to sell mine for a while. New never used.
Also the cheek rest sides back and forth to allow room for the charging handle.
I'll sell you mine for $75 shipped if you're ok with the color. Another $25 for the piece on the bottom if you want it. I paid $150 for it 6 months ago

No. Takes any standard milspec buffer tube.

 

If he doesnt buy it, Id be interested in it. without the $25 extra part on the bottom.

I needed a more precision stock. Went with a Magpul PRS.

Personally though, that aside, I’ve never liked their mount levers. Prefer ADM style.

 

I slapped these on my MP15. Major improvement. Not too oversized, doesn't rattle like the oem parts. Grip is firm, but not rubbery:

Larue products are top notch regarless if your feeling about the owner.

That rat stock is very comphy. I used it for a while on a 308.

 

There’s not so much a story, just the way he acts on a certain ar15 forum.

The way he acts there is one thing. The public comments he has made that are not pro-2a friendly worry me more.

Though to be fair he more just seems weird to me in his business sense. He did some good in stopping sales to LEO and Gov't agencies who were in states that limit access to guns they sell (ie AR-15's). Basically if normal people cant have them nor can you. But then (and recently) he will come out and say he supports restricting access to things. But one can google the company and owner and decide for yourself.

 

Very well said. I had forgotten about the restricting leos in banned states. Which I 150% agree with.

 

Barrett won't sell or service any Gov't owned rifle, owned by the State of CA, since the 50BMG was banned.

BTW... Arnold Schwarzenegger signed the bill that banned 50BMG. (just for the record)
