    Some of the story behind mine goes...IIRC...These COs came off a 4Runner actually. When I showed up to buy them, seller was in a FJ. Pretty sure seller had the 4Runner, had it lifted, then must of gone back to stock to trade in on a FJ.

    I do think seller said something about being/coming from out west, but IIRC is was more Arizona area. I wouldn't, like, bet my life on the accuracy of that statement or anything. More IIRC.

    By the end of 2017 I want all necessary parts to at least be lifted. Coils. Arms. Springs. Shocks. Very doable.

    Will add as time goes by after that. Sliders. Winch. Bumpers. Gears. Locked.

    Starting in 2018, I would like to begin searching for a truck.

    - 2nd Gen
    - Regular Cab
    - 2.7L (Cause :p)
    - 4x4

    If I can find an "Off-Road" model, I will be all over it. But I won't be disappointed if I can't. Just helps with that whole locker topic.

    I turned a Jeep CJ5 on the drivers side in a creek with about 3' of water in it, in 1979. For the record, wet was still wet AF back then. My passenger unbuckled his seat belt, fell on me (as I was wrestling to keep my head "above" water. Then he put a foot on the side of my head and pushed off to get out of the passenger door to get out. Shoved my head under water again. Thought I was gonna drown before I got out. We took another Jeep, pulled mine back on it's wheels, drained the water out of the interior, and chived on! Only a very minor dent in left front fender.....And a lost pack of rolling papers. Would have been better off to have lost them well BEFORE the roll.

    But yes, you're right...ONCE is enough.

    Fund jar did not reset totally to 0 after purchase of leaf springs. Still have some funds left, yay. Little more saving, little more waiting til I can grab up my next part.

    Unless of course anyone wants to buy/give me some UCAs. (always worth a try :D)

    After 8 years around this place, finally got to jump into the Black Friday deals.

    Stumbled across the All Pro leaf pack deal.

    Had a major hard on for some UCAs. Spent days looking. Went with the Dirt Kings. Got a slight deal on the DKs, nothing major.

    Did a lot of looking around and comparing before deciding on the DKs. A small deal after some email/ebay exchanges with DK helped the topic. Hopefully they turn out to be as nice as they look.

    Came home to this package in the mail today. o_O at first. Didn't order anything that I was expecting today. Neato name in the sender section though...



    Things in packages!!


    Those with All Pro leaf spring experience, is it normal to get a separate shipment containing the bushings before your springs arrived? Does make sense, would seem to risky to adhere them to the springs, get ripped off and lost or some nonsense.

    Cleaned coilovers yesterday as well. Fun times with a wire brush. Rusty things. Seemed to have cleaned up ok. Collars look like pure shit and are stuck like chuck, will be entertaining to get off.
