Still have that Morimoto lightbar on? If so how is it today? Would you buy it again?

Turns out this stuff is actually quite nice. It fits very snug on the wind deflector and I have no doubt it’ll stay put. It’s got a rubbery consistency to it so it bends around the sharp corners easily. I’ll be buying more of it for sure.

Got my drip moldings coming today. Do I really need to source the silly clips/tape everyone complains about, or could I just put a few silicone dabs along the gutters to hold it down? Would doing so murder the paint below if I ever had to remove them for whatever reason?

I live across the street from a Toyota dealer, but really don't want to have to pay for a bad product.

A few audio upgrades, tinted windows, remote start because it f'n hot in Texas! 6in Fabtech DB lift, 17x9 Fuel Trophy wheels, 315/70/17 Duratracs,BAMF 80in sliders w/kickout, Prinsu cab rack w/30in Heretic light bar, custom bedside decals, custom hi-lift jack brackets, US Offroad front bumper w/winch, bed rack with RTT, CB, Short wave base station, Ultra gauge, color matched grille surround, an ungodly amount of recover gear, ARB fridge, hood struts, RotoPax, traction pads.

    Just an FYI,

The noise cancelling strip that is supplied from the Prinsu wind deflector has a extra piece of material that blocks the wind from going under the fairing when positioned in the lowest setting. I'm not sure if the kind you purchased will affect the noise at all :notsure:

Ah, that would definitely work better than what I've got. Didn't realize the stripping had that seal at the bottom. Good thing I've got plenty of other uses for what I bought. Thanks for the input.

I am installing my rack today and I'm not sure if i am being picky. I held the rails up next to each other and not all the slots lined up( varied in height not spacing). So i am finding out some of my cross bars are sitting flush, and some 3/16th down from the top. The flush ones ( in the middle) i had to put some force rushing the side rail down. Im not sure if it warped anything but some of the feet are not touching the ground. I did exactly as the instructions said to install. IMG_5175.jpgIMG_5178.jpg

I noticed my weather trim is popping up on both sides right behind the center rack mount.
    Anyone else seen this?

ROB, I noticed that you did not reinstall the rain gutter weather stripping. Why is that? When I installed my I purchased the Steel Hole punch found the centers of the holes and punched the holes through the molding. It is a much cleaner install. I know everyone has their own ideas, just wondering why you decided to bypass that easy step.

Good point, didn't think about ever removing my rack. I don't think that I will ever remove mine since I think this will be the last truck I ever own again.

Sweet! Do you have a switch to those? Or are they just on there with their own power source?

Blackout14 hit it on the nail. I had a scrap strip that I cut for the front gutter but the middle I can't even see it at 6' 1". If I were to punch holes and need to put back to stock I honestly would put some black tape over the holes and call it a day. lol

RedArc dual battery system, AluCab canopy, Prinsu rack fore and aft Planned: Mobtown recovery bar and full steel skids, light bar on rack and BD amber fog replacements, ham radio and antennae, SPOD system, 12 gallon water tank integrated with bed drawer system
I mounted my Prinsu CabRack on my Alu Cab today.

Alu Cab load strips are 46.5 inches from outside edge to outside edge
Prinsu load bar is 47 inches end to end

The supplied mounting feet (MF, 4 of them), when mounted on the Alu Cab tracks, will be too wide to receive the load bars across both support flanges of the MF. Only the inner MF surface would contact the load bar.

So what to do about this ?

TSlot makes the extruded aluminium load bars - Tslot also makes other hardware for use with its products.

    Part # 653198 - a 3 x 4.5 inch 6-hole plate, drilled 1.5 inch center on center - 1/4 inch thick aluminium plate

    http://www.tslots.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/Master_Catalog_WEB_2.pdf

The mounting feet mount up nicely and push the footprint about 1.5 inches inboard.

    Check out the photos.

Here is the Prinsu rack on the Alu Cab. It’s so freaking dark in Seattle this time of year, I can never get a well lit photo - I work too much. 28ED5341-5F99-4292-89E8-1C62AE81D931.jpg

I have a snugtop rebel and found out that the tracks are mounted narrower than normal this weekend.
I am temporarily using Yakima for my tent, and the towers aligned exactly with the Tepui tracks. I had to mount it off center.

Can anyone tell me if I will have the same issue with the Prinsu?
Looking at the design, I imagine the thin side rails will leave clearance to mount the tent freely.

Any info would be much appreciated.
