Something different for these holidays sense I feel we have neglected the third gen owners that just want an HID kit. Awesome savings group buy starts now and ends Nov 19. The group buy is unlimited purchase quantity for Morimoto HID kit.

    Price $95 shipped!

GB ends NOV 19 6PM PST

Since it's a group buy please allow 1-2 weeks for shipments

    Low beam

    High beam

    Fitment
Fits all Toyota vehicles that require H11 bulbs
    Harness vs no harness
So this is debatable and lately we use less and less harnesses in our single xenon retrofits because wiring just adds an extra fail point in the system. Benefits of using a harness though is also extra protection for your factory wiring if anything has a power surge or amp draw. Harness will fail first before getting to your factory wiring. Again though we haven't seen issues yet not using a harness so the choice is up to you. For 55W kit you definitely should use a harness.
    Warranty
Hassle free warranty if item fails we send a new one simple as that. Warranty is 5 years for 35W kit and 3 years for 55W kit

Nice! Was just gonna message you guys on that feeler post re: start time! I’m like 90% in, just wanted to see what the main differences between 35W and 55W ballasts are? Other than rated lifespan and warranty? And if going with 50W would a harness definitely be recommended or still mostly optional?

I would do a harness just to be safe. Honestly we don't sell much 55w actually we barely do, reason is he lifespan but if your like me and into lighting and get new upgrades every 6-12 months then 55 would be good. Our default kits we sell to clients is 35 unless customer requests 55

    Ordered. Low beams

I thought that the consensus was that HIDs weren't the best for high beams due to the warm up time needed. A quick high flash wouldn't be effective. Is this not the case with the newer kits?

So if I'm reading this correctly. Can I run the low beam setup with a 35w ballast and use the factory headlight connections? I'm trying to avoid running another external power harness to my battery. Things are getting messy in there.

Yeah. That's what he's saying. I currently have 55w and harness. I'm tired of looking at all that mess even when I tried to clean it up I didn't have enough wire to do what I wanted so there are ballasts and wires just kinda out of the way.

Going to 35w w/ no harness. Want something easy to deal with and cleaner in the bay. .

We give our suggestions and opinions but at the end of the day leave it up to our customers. For example for 4runners we dont even send out harnesses anymore because the wiring is a thick gauge wiring from the factory and has no problem with HIDs.

I just ordered, but one thing I noticed was it wouldn't let me add a credit card from your page. Even when selecting credit card it took me to PayPal. Which is where I added my credit card anyway. I probably just goofed something up. Also one question I had was, do these ship after the group buy is finished? Or just like ordering as normal? Thanks for the deal

Paypal is our credit card processor, let me check to make sure your order went through. We plan to ship them out in about a week, the big discount is because we will order in a big bulk and pass on the savings to all the Toyota owners

i want 35 but the ideas of frying my factory wiring scares me and the harness seems like a lot of hassle
