I keep looking out for a rollup bed cover close enough to me. The ones I find are all short bed

Then again, my buddy (F150) keeps telling me don't get a rollup, they suck. I carry my bicycles in the back on a rack up near the cab, so I gotta be able to get the cover out of the way.

OK fellers... decision day. As much as the wife says she thinks it's "ugly" to have a cap, I think I got her on board with it. The painting thing is basically worked out thanks to @vssman since he offered to help.

So, what say you all. Yay or nay? I need "help" deciding. I want it, but then part of me thinks I should wait to see if a color matched one already comes up... but then part of me thinks it'll be hard to come by and I don't want to miss out since I think this one is a good deal, since it has locks and sliding windows.

 

@Cativelense, personally I'm not a fan of caps for a pickup. I've always felt if you need a doghouse on a pickup then just buy a van. However, I can see how it would help secure larger items.

I suppose you could buy it and see how you like it. You'd certainly get the purchase price back if you had to sell it.

Run it as is until spring and I'll squirt it black for you.

@Cativelense Its the kind of top we were talking about last night. If you were to be interested in it, I am driving out to Morgantown, WV on Dec. 2nd. I could pick this up also.

I messaged the guy about it, and looks like I'll be buying it as long as he's cool with waiting a few weeks for me to be able to go out there and pick it up. He's only about 2 hours from me, but won't be able to get out there because of the holiday, and then not being able to take a day off from work since my co-worker is off the last two weeks of this month, and one of us always has to be here.

 

I was referring to the besttop. If you find a buyer out this way (I'm in Philly) or even along the east coast since we jave a decent network for TW Express, I would be willing to take the besttop out here if that helps your sale.

I know @Cativelense is interested in the cap. Nuno, how far are you from the PA/NY border on Rt 84? Or even Middletown, NY? I may be able to help you out with the red cap that way. I think I'm going to my Parents house up there the weekend right after thanksgiving.

 

Not too far actually! Moscow PA, where the cap is, is only two hours away from me. Middletown NY is a little over an hour to an hour and a half.
