I couldn't tell you. My 2nd gen does not fall into those categories listed in your question.

But in generalities - I have a 3" ARB Recovery Strap purchased a number of years ago. Keep it clean and dry and it lasts forever.

 

So I am just gonna throw this out there....

We are considering selling our 2003 4.7 V8 4 Runner with full time 4wd. Great condition. 3" lift and 265's. 130k miles on it.

What do you guys think I could get for it? I have heard of one selling at a dealer for $16k. Yeah that is high. But I am thinking of starting in the $12k to $14k range. Am I crazy?

 

I don't know much about 4th gen 4runners.... they went to AWD? wtf?

 

I think you wanted to use Collusion unless you believe a bumper car technique was used?

V6 Part time electric shift Tcase

V8 awd/ Full time Tcase w/ low range still.

 

Important detail to mention is the V6 part time case contains a Torsen center diff and has an auto 4WD setting that is safe for pavement (just awesome for snow packed roads). The V8 case eliminates the 2WD option but is the same otherwise 4WD Auto, 4WD High, 4WD Low selections.

Our Tacos got hosed on all features. No auto 4WD, no manual shifter. Blah.

 

T4R had that since 2000ish, it worked great in the 2000 Limited I had. But that kinda went away in the 5th gen's. My 2010 Trail is a lever, no auto 4wd option. The limited had a full time electric Tcase like the older V8's.

 

V8 AWD...that thing must suck gasoline.
