The sun going down at 4:45 now is really pissing me off. Barely have any time to prep the truck before having to break out the flashlights

 

Imagine how I feel I don't wake up till 3pm. It's fucked me all up. Go home when it's dark go to work when it's dark SMH. All well it pays the bills

Yeah I am not looking forward to it come lift time. I do have some standup halogens at least.

I feel ya. While it makes sleeping a little easier, as I see less sun, it's shit if you have anything to do.

 

So not tacoma related but this is what my transmount looked like after I made it explode...

Bottom pic is what ts supposed to look like. I replaced it with a stiff stage 2 mount

 

Drove a 3rd gen for 250 miles. Don’t hate it, don’t love it either.

 

whys that steel seem so brittle? Shouldnt it have a bit more give to it considering its a trans mount?

 

Also, made myself a little cb bracket. 1/8" wasn't a wise choice, had to thin it out a bit so the tailgate would close properly. Not exactly overbuilt but sturdy enough

 

Cast aluminum. And it was a cheap mount that exploded due to wheel hop in the VW

 

@Lux I have all stage 2 motor and trans mounts now. The vibration to the chassis is pretty crazy but the power goes to the ground and not torqued into the mounts
