How much are you paying for your 2018 Tacoma?

Hey all, this is what my local dealer is offering for 18 (7544) in Cement with Tech, Premium and Phone Cable & Charge Package (cannot remove). 1 of 2 coming down in my area with the same specs minus Tech and Prem pkg. I'll have it by the end of the year.
Sales Price: $38,141.00
Dealer Fee: $699.00
eFiling Fee: $599.00
Sales Tax based on 6%- Must Verify your county tax: $2,366.34
Deposit: -$5,000.00
Total at Signing: $36,805.34 + Tag

This took very little negotiating. Also, deposit is freakn' high

 

I am confused, that price is with or without tech and premium?
And what the hell is an efiling fee?

I will update the master thread once Toyota posts msrp pricing so I can compare verify that the pricing on nada/autotrader follows official pricing.

right now the msrp prices don't follow Toyota usa press releases on msrp. some models are higher by about $55 and some models are about $200 less msrp than Toyota's press release.

edit : example 7122 on the nada list shows 26975 for msrp, toyota press release shows 27215 for msrp.

the above example shows 7544 as 36115 for msrp but toyota press release shows 36365.

 

Ok, sounds good. The pricing on autotrader/NADA does match the Toyota document that we were discussing last week. So yeah hopefully they release official info in the next days.

Damn $1300 in fees? That’s a straight up cash grab by the dealer.

 

So an additional dealer fee. I am not being quoted that over here. They are essentially charging you $1300 of pure profit in dealer fees. I would negotiate the price more.

he absorbed the price but i need to pay +$599 to change the interior.

 

The sales rep I am working with told me there is only one cement 7545 (manual off road)with no premium or tech in the southeast. I’ll wait.

I'm paying $36,128 + 325 Filing fee + NY Tax/Title and DMV. That is $3359 less than MSRP, and around $800 less than invoice from what I can figure out. The dealer is 3hrs away from me, so factor that in. I also have to wait for the truck to be built and arrive, ETA is December 28, 2017.

NONE of my local dealers were willing to figure out how to get me a truck close enough to what I wanted, and most of the people I talked to were awful and just kept trying to sell me something different.

I didn't want a bunch of those small add ons, but I was quoted 37k for a truck WITHOUT the Tonneau, edge guards, exhaust tip, and wheel locks ($960 worth), by another dealer.

 

You don't know what that is !!?? -- that is just another way to say "EXTRA DEALER PROFIT" ( along with that "dealer fee" that is on that invoice). I would tell that dealer to take those 2 fees and stick them "where the sun never shines" then get up and walk out of the door.
The dealer may as well say "FEE to stick "it" to uninformed customers ----$1300.00.
Because that is what those 2 fees really are.
One more name "Dealer/owner new boat fee.

 

With premium off-road and tech packages in Los Angeles. Fair price?

 

Shit, that's what I paid for my '17 SR5 SB DC and it has MORE than mine does. Dammit - but my '08 Taco got totaled end of July and I needed something then.
