So I just bought my Coma a year ago and I'm already bored of it! I wish I bought a 6-speed b/c automatic is so dayam boring. I also wish the X-Runner came in AWD or 4WD, just to satisfy my snowboarding needs... I think a D/C X-Runner would be bad ass. Hello Yota?!?!?

Anyway, I might sell my Coma and get the new STI...

Go off roading. There's a big group out there that wheel often. That will renew that lost love that you once had with your truck like a charm.

Well Sti is a cool car. If you don't need a truck, get an STI, but just know caltrans doesn't care if you have awd combined with slick tires, they still force you to put chains on.

Is the "new" STI still the same one that's been around for about 4 years? I almost ditched the Taco for an STI, but I got a speeding ticket on the test drive. That $300 ticket probably saved me $15K. :D

if you start modding it, you wont be able to stop!

I don't really want to start modding b/c I know I won't stop until it owns :p... and as for the STI, I would use cables if Cal-Trans hassles me... a lot of my friends have Subari AWD's and never needed cables...

I guess you can say it was an impulse buy...

Ill be honest, if you are worried about getting into modding out cars, STAY away from the STI. It is damn near impossible to buy an STI and keep it stock.

It is a true addiction. I just sold my beloved 2002 WRX to get myself to stop modifying. I had dropped almost 20K in mods on the car, and wasn't even close to being done. In all honestly, I thought, eh just an intake and exhaust. HA! Next thing I knew I was slapping a 16g turbo package, bigger injectors, custom tuning, new Forged Block, Methanol, Suspension upgrades, Big brake packages. Its is absolutely addicting once you start. You would think 300+ hp would satisfy you, it wont. Oh, and get used to dodging pot holes.
Just to peak your interest, and any chance to whore out my subie...

Now, on the other had, you will never be bored with it, and there is ALWAYS a crowd to hang out with. Either way, enjoy!

I know how you feel man, I traded my 6spd G35 for an auto taco... but at least yours is 4x4. I still love the truck though... even 2wd it amazes me out in the desert enough to have a lot of fun. Going fast on the roads is one thing, but going fast in the desert is a whole different experience. Also, for an auto this thing is actually pretty decent... though I still regret not getting a 6spd with a urd shift kit... but oh well :D

I've toyed the idea back and forth of trading for a subie but decided if I trade for anything, it's a 6mt 4x4 taco... To satisfy my street speed need, I picked up a project 280z... they're pretty damn cheap... and with a sbc convert it'll burn tires all day.

The new STI is similar in design of the 09-10 models, but...
