    Document your calls and complaints. OHSA will pretty much take it and run with it but any documentation you have, the better off you will be. It just confirms that they knew there was a problem, were made aware of it and kept ignoring it. It puts the incident into a different category.

    I sent HR an email with the details along with a statement that I'd call OSHA and got a call back within 15 minutes. The EH&S manager wasn't filled in by HR and is running with the issue. He's genuinely concerned. We'll see how it pans out.

    Kinda sad that you have to "threaten" to get a response/attention, so an issue can be taken care of. Goes to show that at the end of the day, employees are just "numbers". No real "care" for people. But the manager on the other hand seems like a good person... at least it seems like it to me.

    Funny how they're all of the sudden 'genuinely concerned' once they hear OSHA may be involved. That's just covering their ass rather than doing the right thing. Both should result in the issue getting corrected, it's just sad that the motivation is a threat rather than being a decent employer.
