So I have a 4th driver info screen on my dash (if you press up from the driver info 1 screen you see it) that I cannot customize! What is it there for?IMG_3881[1].jpg

I am wondering the same thing. I wish you could add something there.

Many cars/trucks have that screen. It is suppose to be info free. Some people like less clutter.

Likely the same idea as turning off the screen for the info unit...less clutter or light at night.

OK - this gets curioser and curioser! When you go to the Settings screen, and select Programming, this pops up.

    IMG_3899.jpg

BUT when you go to any drive info screen and hold the button it says to hold, this pops up and I select Yes, but does NOTHING! Why is this so screwed up??

That button with the 3 pages is a bookmark button. If you press it you'll go back to whatever screen you bookmarked. What you're "customizing" is the screen the button selects. So if you like the blank dash info screen you can jump right to it from checking your music screen or whatever else. I personally use it to bounce between my TPMS and my default screen which I've set up to show me current and average MPG.

Ahhh - so I tap that button once to switch back to the screen I customized it to? Thanx, I'll check that out.

Does it go both ways, i.e. press once to go to bookmarked screen, and again to go back to original screen?

As far as I can tell no. Nor can you set more than one bookmark to scroll through. Big missed opportunity there, seems like their idea is people prefer having it on a specific window most of the time while driving so you'd use the button to jump back to your preferred screen after checking whatever you had to check.

Somewhat unrelated topic but not worth a new thread to me... Anyone else feels like the info screen is a bit sparse? Even keeping all the info the same, all the same fonts, Toyota could have easily put another line, possibly 2 if they just do some rearranging of the icons and/or removing the dumb icon readout just below temp (a simple line with a light up bar would do). Example: I could really use a tire pressure readout (even if its just 1 number average of all 4) which could easily fit on the top next to temp.

There is a separate screen with all 4 tpms readouts at once.

I'm lost trying to reset my tpms. Checked all my wheels that are on the ground and my light is still on, on my dash.

Then you have to move to that screen and hopefully you dont end up on the inclinometer which lets you know everytime youre on that screen! Example: here is a ford screen with IMHO a much more efficient usage of space. Just a small thing that I think could/should be updated on the multi-info screen which barely shows any multi-info on a given screen!

I find Gas mileage not useful being 0to20?
Maybe smaller range and more ticks

Before you make a post bashing your truck for operating exactly the way it is intended, please. PLEASE. RTFM.

It is a blank screen, so people have options. Some people do not like a bright center display at night. So they give you the option of choosing a blank display with a default dark background.

Try configuring any options on that Ford screen. You're stuck with what they give you. I like how Toyota was nice enough to allow users to configure what is shown on each screen individually.

Is it possible to change the displayed info when you turn off the key?

I wish that center screen could show time of day. I hate losing the clock in reverse or during some nav or phone activity. But all-in-all after 2 years and 40K miles I've accepted it is what it is.
