So.... Having never needed to chop cab mounts (my previous '06 was on 265s), I'm noticing a difference in size/shape between the SOS and BAMF plates. I'm just on the other side of Sacramento, so driving to BAMF to pick everything up isn't that big of a deal. I tried looking on the SOS website for a location, but failed (I'm currently back east, and have been solely using my phone for everything). What are people's thoughts between the two designs?

He's in Laurens, SC now. I believe the SOS design removes a bit more material than most of the standard plate designs but I'm not sure about the BAMF design. Good question for @EddyRRT and @JimboAnz

I only know the SOS ones. fair amount of the cab mount gets removed, then that plate goes on. thats about all I know. Eddy did mine while I was doing other stuff.

I agree. I loved the improvements with all 4 doors so much that I did the floor, roof and back wall as well

It's crazy how effective this stuff is. I'm using 1/2 inch dynaliner on the doors, 1/4 inch on the floor, and 1/8 inch on the headliner. Do you have any tips on how to avoid the airbags? I don't want to break my face.

Not really lol. I just discoonected the negative on the battery and dove right in. A tip for if you do the entire install, set aside a TON of time to do it, mine took easily 25+ hours to install. But as you are already aware, its sooooo worth it!!

Oh yeah, one door took me about 3 hours but that was me taking my time because I wanted to do it right. The next door will take me 2 hours and the floor will take me all day which will suck the most. However the headliner will probably be a half day job. I can already notice the difference so I'm eager to get this done!
