Ha! That’s like me waiting for SCS Ray10 wheels in gunmetal gray 16’s. I completely gave up on trying to get those.

Is that a frontrunner rack? How much height does that setup add? I'm wondering if it will fit in my garage like that instead of bed mounted.

How noticeable is the weight up there? Any wind noise?

It is a Front Runner rack and I'm using their quick release tent mounts. The mounts can be installed on the top or bottom of the cross rails to adjust the height up or down about an 1". I have them mounted on top. I would estimate the overall height, with the tent mounted, to be about 20" from the highest point of the roof. The total weight is 200+ lbs. The added weight up top is not that noticeable. I assume the decrease of mpg is more from drag than added weight. I do notice some wind noise, but not enough to be bothersome.

Thanks!! That was one of the mounting options I was looking in to. I was thinking of bed mounting it, but how do you like those quick release mounts?

The installation of the quick release mounts took longer that expected because you have to make sure each mounting point is lined up and tightened before clipping in place. I still have yet to dismount the tent, but I'm relieved knowing it should be as simple as just unclipping the mounts and sliding the tent off.

Alright So I have no issue getting it going again but we would need 20 people ready. I was planning on around tax time since that seems like a better time to get everyone together quicker :notsure:

Subbed. Currently in a tepui kukenam. Looking for a hardshell. Like the price tag. I’ll stick around for the next go around.
Nothing against you op, I’m just a little skeptical of the quality of these. I guess I’ll have to read the whole thread and see what people say.
Hoping to do business with you soon! :hattip:
