It's overused, but totally applicable in this situation

Curious what rear end you guys running the dtf front use, stock with spacers, 9”, custom Currie or other brands?
Wondering what would be wide enough to match that front end

Some have stock with spacers, @DTFtacoma and another guy use 2nd gen Tundra axles and I'm sure at least one guy has a 9" by now considering how serious the guys that buy his kits builds are :)

Tundra rear end is smart that’s what i was thinking of looking for to keep the same lug pattern and maybe disc brakes if it’s a newer year

May as well get a 9" somewhat built, if you can afford it a fully fabbed housing for 9"

definitely, but I cant afford that hahahaha. would like to someday have this kit but I would wanna do the rear at the same time so my truck doesn't look like an alien. Just trying to see what options are out there that won't cost me a kidney.

2" wheel spacers. I think those guys ran them that way for awhile. I have one of Anthony's old stock axles that he ran until he went to the 2nd gen Tundra axle. :)

Yeah I know, but I also need to regear and the gears with a locker for our trucks cost so much I would rather just wait around and put that money towards a better rear end that is potentially already geared. Not opposed to spacers for a while though

So far just tundra 10.5" swaps on 4 DTF equipped trucks.

A couple are running adapters including my own but it makes the rear track width 88"

The new plan is to plug weld and re-drill the axles, drill the rotors, and turn down the hub to 106mm. That will reduce it to 84" track width.

Shout out to @Bobber Bill for doing the leg work and getting the swap done on his truck! He actually has a couple spare axle shafts for sale if anybody is interested.

    lol yup

I got a used 2014 tundra 10.5" for $900 almost complete just needed brake lines and calipers.

Yep 2" hubcentric bora wheel spacers and ARP studs on the axles

My tundra housing came with factory 4.30 gears which aren't bad with my heavy wheels and 37" tires.
