I haven't even researched which springs I need with the 5100's yet, or if I even want to drop the cash yet, let alone order them...

Getting the u joints out of this drive shaft is a pain in the ass. Gonna head to advance and rent the tool from them in the next day or two I guess. Those fuckers won’t beat out.

 

Pliers and a certain size socket and a hammer... Its on YouTube somewhere

 

Renting the tool is easier. Trust me getting the correct tool for a job is 10x easier than attempting to save $20 by not buying/renting it

 

Attempted. It wouldn’t budge

$140 to rent it from Advance apparently. But you get the money back when you bring it back.

 

Damn, must be thinking a different tool because I’m thinking of a ball joint press and I didn’t think they were that expensive

 

4 cans later and...still need gussets.

Only day I saw warm enough for my paint. Looks good enough for sliders

Rattle cans? Get one of those spray can trigger things. Best $3 I've spent for projects like that.

 

It's one of those cans that that won't work

 

Nah, it's a separate thing that you can swap can-to-can. I wish I had bought one before painting my sliders.
