    When I go solid axle I’ll be doing hoops and upgrading to a bigger shock body. Will need a custom pack to match the front and I shouldn’t have any issues with tire rub. The front axle is 72” wms I do believe and not sure what a sterling 10.5 is out of a superduty.

    IIRC @xweslingx has 63s on a 2nd gen with the shocks mounted inboard. Don't know where there's pictures of it though.

    I kept mine. I just had Todd weld the tube in in front of it. I'm paranoid about bending the frame when being pulled at an angle so I'm not a big fan of removing crossmembers. I like adding them though. The stiffer the better. :rofl:

    I gots a welder! Getting better all the time. Self taught, burned through 80cf of gas so far. Did my own sliders and a few other odds and ends peojects. I'd like to tackle the 63 swap myself, but wouldn't mind a helping hand and an experienced eye.
