that would be cool. Send me the list when you get a chance. I'm considering going to 37"s to make long highway drives more enjoyable :D

Just seems like whether is duals or crawl boxes many people seem to always have one issue or another. That's all. I'm just going by what people post online on various forums.

The atlas will be more than 3k. You will probably spend over 4k after everything is said and done depending on how you configure the thing. Heck of a product though, worth the money. .

In for once you put a bunch of highway miles on your truck and the atlas starts leaking and making noise!

Buy a tow rig and trailer :luvya: I like driving my Tacoma but theres nothing like setting the cruise control at 75 and being able to hear the radio and being able to wheel all weekend without worrying about how I'm going to get home.

Well aware of the cost for an atlas. Could reuse the one adapter from inchworm since its AA but driveshafts would have to lengthen/shortened, new transmission mount, skid plate, speedo. My dad just bought one for his jeepster project and one for his tj to replace his dana 300 and our other buddy runs one in his tj. Nice but spendy.

For Sand hollow/Winter 4x4 Jamboree, we are doing Johns Trail @8am on January 18, Maze @ 8:00 AM January 19, and Double Sammy @ 08:00 AM Saturday, January 20. The trails are short so I'm sure we will go play around and maybe run milts mile again on our own since its pretty fun and close.

Heck yea about the tow rig! That would make life a lot easier. I've been driving a lot lately. In town and relatively "short" highway drives (couple of hrs or so) are totally fine. The issue is with super long drives, let's say 7 plus hrs combined with hills. 40"s are really heavy, so the truck feels sluggish and it gets a bit tiring having to down shift so often to keep up the momentum.

Thanks for sending the schedule. I will look into it.

    haha.

Actually, I have heard guys having more issues with leaks with the 4spd atlas than the regular 2spd. Not sure what's that about, but there's clearly something to look into it. Maybe something in the design? Dunno...

Probably due to the fact that there are a couple more mating surfaces with that planetary on the front of the case. But mine leaks from there, the rear output, the speedo cable port, the little center shaft thing (idk what the name of it is, would have to provide a pic). I plan on pulling it entirely next summer when the wheeling season is over and re-seal everything and maybe up the weight of the gear lube in it.
