Random post.... Anyone enjoy the Winter Olympics? I’m watching the qualifying rounds of curling right now.

I remember watching the men’s hockey team win “the miracle on ice,”. Where we beat the commie bastards. Dad let my brother and I stay up and watch with him, I was 7 at the time. Then the gold medal win. Ever since then, I love watching the Winter Olympics and hockey.

Trying to get back on a daylight schedule, worked nights this week. I will be up late.

 

I love all Olympics. I also love curling. I was in Wausau WI for a week a few years ago and visited their curling club, and they taught me how to slide stones and sweep. Plus, like bowling, it’s a sport where you can drink beer while you play.

Sweeping is hard work. Builds huge traps.

Curling is cool.

Any curling venues down in TX?
