    everything that is not from a factory is custom. Or its one or two guys, welding in a garage in a start up company. There are no warranties.

    You can request the type of metal used, if its DOM or HREW, and if he has made other things, and if they have been tested or on his own vehicle..

    I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
    Yeah for that price they ought to be made out of some good material in order to spend that much for them. Also with all the sales going on right now for Black Friday I'm sure you can order a set from a proven company that makes them all the time

    I just have an issue with the reduced lines of sight. I'm a very "active" driver & really like my sight lines. It's not bad having a cap, just better w/o one for my driving style. May not be an issue for you at all.
    Get the cap, give him first dibs. Be a whole lot easier for me to find a black/red truck & finally meet you - LOL.
