It's possible, just keep bending that sheet metal little by little. There was a good 20 minute span while doing my passenger side UCA where I thought the bolt couldn't possibly come out without removing everything from the engine bay.

Lol, I also remember cursing alot to get the bolt back in... Good luck!

 

Okay for for that get a good prybar and pull that long bolt out as far as you can and get the washer as close as you can to the metal, if you cock the washer sideways it’ll hold and put your pry bar too it and press that metal out, makes it much easier. On passenger side careful of the line and disconnect the wires and stuff or you’ll bump into it and fight those too, I have a pair of long plyrs I use to grab that long bolt and grab and use the metal that you bend to pry it’s way out. It’s not too easy and a bit of a fight but the more you pull that metal the easier it is.

 

Make sure you lube those bushing and rubbers!! And GREASE THE FITTINGS before you tighten that long bolt down!!! Do not lube those while it’s tight or it F’s those bushing pretty quick. See it happen often and people don’t know why it happened.

 

Not as far as I would have liked to have got today. But the pivot bolt on the passengers side is a total PITA ..

Drivers side disassembled ready for ECGS bushing , UCA and coil over tomorrow.

Crap I did that now I'll have to loosen back up and lube. I did lube until the grease started coming out from around the bushings

 

I would losen and grease till it comes out again on both sides. 2-3 pumps should do it just fine.

LOL yeah there's always the adding a "few" more things. Unless I decide to do some little things most of what I have left is minimum $500 so going to be a while
