Post #25. I didnt measure correctly its ome 886 springs and 1/4” top spacer. After it settled my guess is 3”.

Reading all these posts made my hair fall out thinking id need ecgs needle bearing bushing, have crazy vibration, need body mount chop. I had none of those issues and waisted so much time worrying. Did need to go back and put ucas on cause my alignment was off.

Decided to go with 265/75/16 ko2 on ray10.

I enjoy my horsepower and mpg too much to lose more with 285s. I also tow a boat quite a bit, and big tire+small v6+towing=no bueno. Especially when you have hills and mountains to drive over all the time.
    Anyways.. pics soon :)

Partially true. You will rub at full turn in reverse or full tuck. YMMV. Mud flaps will rub for sure. If your intent is pavement princess then you’ll be fine. I ended up doing a CMC and UCA’s since I like to go off the beaten path.

Just got them on last night so it looks good to me lol
I pulled into a shopping center and scared the shit outta myself. Some rubbing on backside of front wheel well even after flap removal. I have to do some minor trimming.

I met a member here for a sale. He had 285s with 5100 and he told me he didn’t do any trimming or CMC. He had no rubbing issues at all.

But I was like” how? What? Impossible!” Haha

Yup. Lol I keep getting messages “full lock reverse you will rub”. I guess im just one of the lucky ones. Maybe when I put my steel bumper on but then ill just give in and do the cmc for 300$ at demollo off road or do a 20$ 1/2” spacer ro replace my 1/4” spacer. Not really a big deal. To each their own nothing wrong with 265’s either. I just wanted a specific look and got it. Paying for the look in mpgs to the tune of 15mpg.

Here ya go. I need to do a build thread someday. Couple on the trail and one next to a stock 4x4. I'm running 2.5 inches of lift on Icons in the front, and 3 inches in the rear with bilstein 5125s, an AAL, a tsb, and a 1.5 inch block. And a 1inch Toytec body lift. And 35/12.5/17s.

That's awesome. I have a friend at work that just payed off his '13 and is looking to do a lift. His is the same color, so I'll definitively have to show him yours for ideas.

Sorry for the off topic OP.

You made the right choice with the 265's, especially with that tire. It will get you where you need to go.

I’m a huge BFG fan, and that ko2 is a fantastic tire. Especially when you buy 3 and get 1 for $1 :)
