    This is where you need to trim the snout up to. You will be shaving off a good 6 or 7mm before you reach this point roughly.

    Looking at this pic... So did you shave the cast aluminum all the way down to the shaft? Cutting that way, guess you could fit smaller than 2.5. The snout cutter I used didn’t shave all the way down.

    It was the reference I used when I cut my snout. It showed the snout was shaved all the way down to that silver line. Matter of fact the one I saw was cut deeper than my own.
