We never say the “Q” word while at work. Shit usually hits the fan.

I staid at home last night. Hoping to make it in tonight.

Thanks! Been on antibiotics for a day now and rest. Feeling better. Made it in to work tonight.

Soooo I’ve currently been at this job for almost 2 yrs. Recently I’ve started getting friend requests on FB by some of my coworkers. I see these people for 12hrs a day, sometimes 60 hrs a week. Is it rude to decline?

    Sorry:pray: Feel better soon:D

Doesn't OSHA require two people on the clock on site at all times?

As our union president always said "Just be happy you have a job"
I always thought that kind of sounded like a vieled threato_O

    Mine changes every day.

Yes! Very rude! But what do I know? I'm not even on FB.

There's 4 of us here, only 1 in my position. The union agreement will not allow a union member to step up to my position unless there is a qualified exempt employee on site and the only qualified exempt employees available at this time is me and the one working days.

They don't but I've never seen an OSHA rule stating how many we have to have on site. Union rule just says there has to be a management employee qualified on our equipment on site if a union member is in control. I have 3 classified on shift with me but none of them are on the controls.

    3/3 here, 6hrs to go.

...and THEN I'm off for ELEVEN DAYS for Thanksgiving!

My father in law is coming out here with his wife over the holiday; I can't wait! They can only really get out here once a year, and I'm one of those truly fortunate guys that gets along REALLY well with their father in law. :bananadance:

I'm lucky tonight, it's gone by fast so far.

I had a new system to set up for some of the Ops supervisors that was giving me grief, then I had some documentation that ended up being a bit lengthy. Next thing you know I'm like, "why am I so hungry?" - yeah, it's after 11pm dude. :anonymous:

    Thanks!

I'm pretty stoked about it, it's the first time off I've taken since back in May.

Does your Firefox now say "Firefox Quantum", or even just "Quantum"?

I was just reading that there's a new version of Firefox out called that, it's supposed to be pretty spiffy. Maybe you got upgraded?
