Well, it's true in the Northwest. The second dealer I contacted confirmed that they can't order that combo in this region for some reason. He can see that config coming into a neighboring region and wants to see if they can have it transferred either at the port or on a truck after. Sounds like, for whatever reason, there's a glitch in their ordering system.

Eh, not too bad - first world problem. As much as I want to get into one after lurking here for some time (my first truck) I think I'd rather wait and get the one I want. Sounds like the 7545 in Cement is going to be the belle of the ball for this year's line up.

Keep in mind my price is not Out The Door. Sounds like we got a similar deal depending on the taxes in your state.

Anyone know if it's possible to get the TRD shift knob as a separate part through the dealer? Saw it pop up in the accessories e-brocure.

Yea it doesn't make any sense to me. If you always have to get them together they're not actually separate options. But it lists them as such everywhere. If that was intended they should've just made it Tow Package (basically no options) and Tech/Premium package

You guys are all pretty correct. I work over at Toyota of Renton in Washington state. Currently, Toyota isn't building the premium package on the off roads and sports but they do exist obviously. They will start appearing on our next batch of allocations. The build profile on the trucks make it so the premium and tech packages cant be separated (in my region at least).

I got this price also. Almost mirrors yours I feel like it was a killer deal. Plus I got quoted on similar 2017 for only 1,000 bucks cheaper so why not just go 18

I was very pleased with the deal as well. Trying to be patient on the delivery. :yay: First new truck, but fourth Tacoma.

Thanks for this information brother. That's what I've asked Santa to bring me (I am Santa BTW). DCLB OR premium baby!! I'd sure appreciate any updates you could provide as the weeks tick by to Christmas. :)

It appears you can have tech by itself but not premium, to have premium you must have tech also

When does the next allocation start rolling in? I’m in Renton and waiting for a Cement DCSB Sport, AT with leather and sunroof to check out. I was eyeing the white sport with sunroof you guys have on the lot but really prefer OEM leather over cloth.

That is correct. Tech by itself is being produced however once premium is added tech is also going to be a part of the build profile.

We should be receiving our next allocation towards the end of the month. Hopefully toyota starts building some sports and off roads with the premium package. I would highly suggest putting a deposit down on one as the first batch of sports and off roads with the premium package in cement will all be sold prior to arrival. PM me for details.

I know they'll at least be building off-roads with premium tech for the "Denver region" soon, which includes where I'm at in AZ. Mine hit allocation on Friday. Cement DCLB 4x4 OR.

I forgot to add this here. Here's my deal

7544 (OR, DC, 4X4), OF with LC27, TP, TC, MG, and the all weather package. MSRP $41,512

    I'm paying invoice $38,985.

This is going to change since I'm having them remove the all weather package and add CJ, GN, & TG. Those will all be at invoice and added at the port.

Just confirmed this as well. Two dealers in my location tried to order it with Prem w/o Tech and they could not.
