We have 23deg. and clear here in NE Colorado..

It's always hot in the fabs when you have to wear a bunny-suit, so of course I'm wearing shorts...

Good Morning

Just going through the wash cycle now with the heavy rain overnight.

Spin cycle coming up with 30-40 mph winds ahead of yet another cold front.

 

Same here.

 

3 workdays this week and 2 more weeks of vacation after Thanksgiving.

 

Holy crap! Temps are going to plumped. About 20* lower by this time tomorrow.

 

Doing anything special?

 

1.5 more hours of this and then I'm out for 11 days.

The GOOD news is - I only have to vouch 24 hours to cover that entire stretch!

 

Not really.
I'm an avid Hunter and i usually take a good chunk of vacation time this time of year.
I am fortunate to live very close to Watershed ground that has designated bow-only and gun only areas.
Weekdays and nice in these places. Like a private park to myself.

 

Nice.

 

Kind of nice having several thousand acres to play in this close to here.
One wouldn't think there would be that much ground in SW ct.

Final winter prep project.
Will see if the guy with the key shows at the shop on time.
Pouring right now.
18 yesterday morning.
50 right now.
Was so noisey in the woods with all the frozen dirt, etc I should of used a bullhorn to let everyone know I was there. It would have been quieter.
No sign, no reply. Heard the other two hunters take off around 7am.
Tried a new pair of gloves and they didn't work. Fingers to cold.
So time to make a run and get a new pair of thermo boots and gloves before next week.

Saw the two 8 pointers yesterday chasing does around. Good view of a swamp in front of me where this was happening, but of course, out of bow range.
