    Hello TW,

Recently sold my 1st gen ext cab 2.7L 4x4 manual with 79kmiles for a more suitable family version (hadababyitzaboy). I found a 2009 TRD Sport 4x4 DCSB in Maryland at the Toyota stealership with 43,000 miles for $22500 ($24500 out the door) that has been completely cared for frame coated all services documented etc. and came with a bed cover and brand new 265 Good year Kevlar All Terrains. I am very excited about it to say the least. I do feel I paid pretty much top kbb dollar for it but what do you expect I found it at a Toyota Dealership and I have not seen another one this clean with low miles for sale.

If you are interested in upgrading from 1st Gen to 2 Gen these are the first things I noticed:
*POWER WINDOWS!!!!!! Man I miss these
    *Factor bilsteins ride very smooth
    *OEM stereo sucks
    *Rearview mirror visibility sucks
*Gas mileage is about the same as the 4 cyl 4x4 manual (however now I have to drive light and easy as opposed to pedal to the metal)
    *Tons of low end torque
*Still getting used to Traction control always on until turned off at slow speed or stop (used to lay rubber in the 4 banger all the time but I am getting older time drive like a dad now I guess.)
    * Slush box is actually a nice change up from the 5 speed. Traffic is not as annoying but it does do a high rev then shifts hard into 2nd at low speeds think I just need a TSB upload?
    * Shorter box than the ext cab but There is ways around that (ie bed extender and or trailor hitch bed extender) If I wanted to drive a truck with the WB of a excursion I would have got an excursion or a full size truck to tow the big toys (sorry long bed owners)

Would I do it all over again? You bet

Wow Yeah you really are my neighbor im right off Beauregaurd and Seminary. As for the truck eventually go 285 tires black rims I am liking the BFDs wheels but not sure yet. 3 inch lift maybe with 5100s bilsteins a bunch of in the cab work like new stereo speakers etc. I definitely will try to link up on the next NOVA meet up although the TRD will be mostly stock still.

If you are interested...I have some 285s that I am looking to sell in a few weeks when I go up to 35s with the TRD fakelock wheels in grey. There are many places around in a 2-3 hour drive that are stock friendly...Petersmill, bald mountain, flagpole, and some others. Most of these are by the George Washington National Forest area.
