    This.

I got my truck 5 months ago at a great % off msrp than you're getting. Put their feet to the flame, the 18's are months away. 30,500-30750 should be your goal.

I just calculated my deal for a 17 sport. It was 9.4% off msrp

Sounds like a great deal. What was the MSRP?

that's a good deal on a sport. Just based on anecdotal evidence you can take with a grain of salt I've seen the SR's and SR5's being discounted slightly more than the sports and off roads. believe the demand is just higher for the sport's/offroads.

The problem here in Oregon is there are only 12 or so 2017 SR5 long beds left (including some in south WA even). There are over 300+ 2017 TRDs left.

The handful of dealers that have the last 7570's seem to being treating them as sort of rare. All have reminded me how there are so few left ha Makes it tough, but I did get another dealer yesterday to offer 10.65% off MSRP on a 2017 7570 that they got a few days ago. It still was wrapped in plastic as of yesterday. Amazing some 2017's are still coming in.

Need some advice. Looking at a 2017 Limited 4X2 DC with Tonneau, Tow,Running Boards,Exhaust Tip
    Total MSRP is 39,065.00

The dealer said its an Unwind- less than 1,000 Miles.

Dealer is offering approximately 10% off MSRP $35,000

    This is my first Tacoma:

    1. Will the 4x2 hurt resale value.

    2. How about the Limited versus just the TRD packages? Pros/Cons

    3. Should I ask for 15% off MSRP?

Well that plastic wrapped beauty just became leverage against whatever dealer you've been working with. But if 10.65% is what you end up getting off I wouldn't hang your head. 10-12 is the sweet spot and 15 is a pipe dream even with the 18's closing in, you're in the sweet spot range on a low supply vehicle and that's nothing to slouch at.

1.**slightly but largely depends on where you're located in country, if 4x4 is the standard of people who drive trucks in that area than it could hurt it a little.

2.opinion by many is you're just paying for fluff buying a limited vs. TRD. I'm not well versed but that's the general temperament many give off.

3.eh not really. you're talking about a vehicle that's somewhat limited in how many dealers will have. You won't have many dealers to play against each other, still hardball but just know 15% may be out of reach.

Haha she is a beauty! Silver with dark satin alloy wheels. But it has the red accented interior which I am still not sure how I feel about. They do have a grey 7570 with grey interior on the lot, too. No dark satin alloy wheels though. Decisions decisions...

The 10.65% off MSRP was their first offer so I think I can do better with these guys. We shall see! Appreciate your responses!

Dealer said it has less than 1000 miles. Most states have a limit. I think in MD anything over 500 miles can’t be sold as New. I also screwed up and put my answers in your post. All well I am an old fart.

Really this is probably the right answer. Unless that specific truck is EXACTLY what you've been looking for then sure go for it but otherwise you can probably get at least the same deal if not better on a new one.

Also I would get a 4x4 unless you plan on keeping this till the wheels fall off. Resale value will be much higher. You should be getting a great deal now on any 2017

Don’t let anyone tell you that you can't get 15% off. I ended up walking out the door with almost 16% off MSRP.

Wow, I couldn't even imagine getting 15 or 16% off! I would go nuts if I got 12% off haha

There are only few dealers left that have a 7570 on their lot. Most have bowed out around 8% off or so. Some way less. One of the two that are at around 10% off MSRP right now doesn't even have a 7570. They would be bringing it from a neighboring state. I don't think they will go much lower (or not any lower per my last conversation with them). The dealer they would be getting this truck from wouldn't go below 33.2k for this truck when I pressed them haha I love the PNW, but not when it comes to getting a Tacoma.

WOW I didnt think deals around the 10% were common for Tacoma's. Glad to know that.

The less inventory of the trim and options you want then the less likely they're probably willing to budge.
