    Hello fellas,
is it very bad for my engine to do sometimes some strong acceleration with about 5 000 r/min?
because I test my tacoma with my friend's sport car, and the tacoma is a good rival from 0-60 mph

When I feel that my Taco is a bit sluggish I usually do this. Just rev the shit out of it in a straight road and it actually performs better after it... Probably this has no mechanical or logical backing, but it sure has helped me. I dont think it does any damage to the truck, as long as you dont red line it often.

If that was to me, then you misunderstood. I said I rev the shit out of it, I didnt say I transformed into Speed Racer and raced with every car on the road. Also, my "by law speed limit", aint your "by law speed limit", so I dont understand how if I went X miles an hour, someone could say that was street racing or not.

If that wasnt directed at me, well then I just wasted some space in this post. :D

sometimes I get a good launch off a light and redline my 4 banger through the gears.. Its not a street race unless the A-hole on the bicycle next to me tries to pass.
