Morning Sunshines! Im off to work too, even though its only about 150' away.
I get to play with a backhoe today again, might stop fixing trucks and become a heavy equipment operator, lol!

Getting shit done over here! Still a LOT to do but good things come to those that work hard, or thats what they tell me, I just know its a lot of work!! But super pumped on how its taking shape!!

I may need to set up another get together to get my fence put in, the posts are all up! I dont think I can wrestle rolls of fence around by myself, ha! But if not I will certainly try and figure out a way...

Have a great day my peeps!!!

I would much rather be driving a backhoe than shipping all day! Lol

Anyone going to see @Speed Freek soon? I'd like to finally get his mats out of my storage unit. I'm over in Poway.

Holy crap its been so long I had forgotten about it, you could have sold it twice, haha!
Shoot if anybody is near you that is going to be in this area that would be ideal, however I may not be so lucky....I will try and break away and get over there, just isnt enough hours in the day for me right now (stupid winter!) I want my summer days back!!! The dark to light ratio sucks right now :annoyed:

Well transmission fluid swap didn’t go as planned. Truck seems screwed now. Extremely low idle. Truck feels like it’s draghing while driving. Battery cable did arc on accident yesterday but no blown fuses and no codes

Paging @Speed Freek for a SOS help. I don’t wanna work on this anymore lol...

    I did exactly that!!

    Two quarts at a time

At 14 quarts the fluid looked clean. I filled my new aux cooler and added about 1/2 quarts extra but it won’t even really run

Gonna have to get someone else to fix this, I can’t.

I suspect the torque converter is messed up

I hate to admit this but I don't do my own fluids anymore, the time invested vs having to deal with storing and/or disposing of the fluids etc is just not worth it to DIY for me anymore. @anthony250f I use the JiffyLube just a few blocks from you over by Best Buy. Maybe you should just cruise over there and have them do it again ?

Not sure if the truck would even make it or if I should drive it. I’m not ever doing this again. I think somethings messed up in the tranny

Hoping @Speed Freek can fit me in cause I’m not touching it

Just out of curiosity have you checked your charging system and battery ? When my alternator went out there were zero symptoms but my Optima held enough of a charge to start the truck then all of a sudden my truck went completely " dumb " and the transmission felt just like what you are describing....I assume that this was because the voltage dropped low enough that the ECU was brain farting

I checked two days ago and it was working good BUT before I did the transmission flush I accidentally shorted the positive cable to ground....no blown fuses though.

Hey Anthony! Hope my texts have been helping you pinpoint the issue, sounds like it may be more than the Torque Converter. However like I said you may want to take to a Trans shop that is capable of hooking it up to a trans diagnostic computer and make sure there isnt a solenoid or pressure problem inside the trans.
It sounds like low fluid from your problem but thats just a guess.
