I've been busy the past couple days! Also just haven't had much motivation to go on TW

 

The Lair has been dead all weekend. I had to find other threads to comment in

 

I have been busy working in my basement. I worked on the wiring today until I lost dexterity in my fingers to twist anymore wire nuts...

 

Oh that sucks been down that road, worst is same thing but from severe cold lol

 

It happens sometimes, you are allowed to but not too often! Haha

Been able to catch up a few threads lol

Haha doing electricity is not as easy as we can think! I also caught up on a lot of things I had to do before winter. Glad I shot that deer last week end so it free up this one!

 

So my first turkey smoke came out great. Smoked for 10 hours, at 235-250°F, 12.17lb turkey, internal temp 183°F. Defrosted it in the brine for a few days. Rubbed it with 2 sticks of butter and rubbed on some mixed seasoning from a local BBQ joint. Came it better than I could have hoped for.

 

Mmmmm, that looks really good.
