Yeah but where does it end.. S-mode gear lock etc etc etc . Auto feeding frenzy 2.0. Meh, keep on pushing for the test tune, at least you'll have something to smile about while waiting.

 

At least the 1.02B is trusty. Every time I tune back to her she gets me out of a bind

 

I understand you guys are eager to get your version of the 1.03 MT file. I want you guys to also understand I'm not putting you on the back burner or forgetting about you.

You have to understand a difficult part of my job is figuring out how to overcome the issues that only exist on 3 trucks out of every truck done so far. Believe me I want it to work just as much as you do.

 

I just want to know when I can order one... Lol

Will be watching and waiting patiently. Who am I kidding is there a pre preorder list I can get on. Need any high altitude testers,guinea pigs? lol

 

Thanks Mat, and it looks like there are a few more guys with early build 2016 M/Ts that have either already placed an order or are waiting to grab the tune when available. Some are waiting to see how 04B10 pans out before ordering too. Our small club is getting larger.

 

Three testing perhaps, more awaiting results to be certain...

I need to look at the build date of my lemon.

 

I think if the remaining 2 of us receive the test tune that would keep us happy. At this point just a tune that works would put a smile on my face.

 

It's crazy to me to see everyone dishing out money on a tune that is still in "development" and isn't proven. I understand at least from most comments the tune is a huge improvement over stock, but for me personally I would much rather wait to get a well thought out and tested tune. None of these issues would fly on most other platforms for a "tune" and I'm not sure why most of you are okay with these issues, seems like a lot of bandwagon fans in here. Do I think it's great what OV Tune is doing? Of course its great! However, you bit yourself in the ass by releasing an incomplete tune. Go back to the drawing board, test and tune internally and release a completed tune.

Not showing off anything, simply stating that anytime I've purchased a tune on another vehicle all the testing and fine tuning has been done prior to being released. Didn't know that was too much to ask for.

 

Those of us involved know we are basically beta testing. Most of those not involved wish they were..

This is normal with new technology releases. We are still on the far left of the bell curve. Feel free to keep waiting. I'm driving my 1.03 to work today

 

More testers = greater feedback = more well rounded final product. I'm all for beta testing and am patiently waiting for the pre-order list. I'm in for a pre-pre-order list too lol

 

The difference is disclosure. OVTune has been very clear this is in ongoing development from the get-go... and all I can say is that the last 3-4 months I’ve been rocking various “beta” versions have made me fall back in love with the truck. Perfect yet? No. Exponentially improved over stock tunes - absolutely
