My truck is a 06 Tundra shoe horned into a 03 Tacoma. It is possible to do this to a regular Tacoma though. It would be like running new light wiring power to the 3rd brake light out side bulbs then connecting to a switch.

What side do you elevate off the ground to make the noise stop. I would focus on that side. Also put up some more detailes.

CBI sliders, ADS extend travel with compression adjuster coil overs, 9” Bilstein 5125 rear shocks, Icon Tubular UCA, Alcan custom leafs, All Pro Apex bumper and skids, NWTI rear diy bumper, 295/70/17 Cooper St Maxxs and nitro 4.88s.
I figured it out, turned out that my skids got shifted wheeling and the alignment for the middle bolt was so tight that it causing the skid to make a terrible clunk noise when there was movement

I haven't figured it out yet. First time I got it was on the way to Reno picking up 4x4 parts. My auto tech professor told me to spray carb spray on the vacuum fittings while the engine is idling and if you hear the engine rev there's a leak.

Could be the o2 sensors, maybe. I checked the Toyota service history and the truck had the same code in 2010. The tech solved it by cleaning the MAF housing. I tried doing the same but it's clean, no carbon buildup or anything.

The 4 cyl does 0-60 in 4.5 years, but recently it's been feeling more like 45.5 years.

Honestly just going to bring it to the dealer at this point. I can't figure it out.

Fuel filter is original I think. I'll try changing it.

I have a K&N hot air intake on there so it could be that too.

I dont know the codes very well but my upper o2 sensor went bad and had the exact symptoms. Ironically it was while working in Reno.

It's funny while they were pulling (the wrong) front diff off of the 4Runner I was making small talk with the workers in the office. I said "what a beautiful city you have" and the cashier stopped what he was doing, looked me in the eye and said 'What beautiful city?" and started laughing.

I would assume your maf sensor is bad. Mine was "fixed" by cleaning it however came back on like a year or two later

Time for new bearings in the carrier and a solo LT kit. Sewing skills are extremely rusty but I'll eventually need to get the leather boot fixed up and console trimmed.

Asked my pops to weld additional steel on top of my 3/16 skids since they keep bending from the rocks. He said he could weld 1/4 on top. Too much huh?? Maybe another 3/16?
