    Nice well if i get my dakar leafs in and get a chance to install them i'll be there...btw i got demello sliders about a week ago and my buddy who was suppose to weld them can't weld over 1/4" with his setup... so that's a no go.

    Anybody know where i can go to get these welded on? (I'm in south jersey)

    How thick are the mounts for those sliders? Are they really over 1/4"?

    Also, what welding setup is he running? I have a Hobart Handler 140 that maxes out at 1/4" and it runs on standard 120v service.

    I don't have them with me right now, but i'm pretty sure the mounts were around 3/16", combined with the 1/8" frame he figured it was to much (he might just be being lazy about it though). He is also by no means a "professional".

    I don't remember his setup but i know it runs on 120v

    They will be fine to weld. I have a Miller 120V MIG and it welded mine with no issues. The welders are usually a little under-rated in the specs. You can always use a multi pass technique.
