My new leafs will be here tuesday. Anyone interested in my current All Pro standard leafs, I will let them go to a local guy for cheap! They have been great, just wont be able to handle all the weight I'm gonna start throwing at them.

Late reply, but i feel your pain man. Marriage of 14 years, been together over 16, ended earlier this year for me. So if you need to talk, just give me a shout. I hope your efforts go better than mine.

It's a work in progress. See my build thread.
It’s the Apex mounts. It bolts it to the brace mounts.

with the current 20% icon sale. is it worth it to go icon over bilstein 6112 5160 set up. the cl guy with kings was firm at 2500 and for used I didn't think it was worth it.

I'd personally go the Bilstein over Icon based on what I've read on here. Icon seems to be hit or miss with both quality and customer service.

Since most of whats on the east coast is low speed is there a big benefit going to fox or king to justify the price difference? I have read so many forums and posts my head hurts. :frusty:

I couldn't give you an accurate answer on that since I have no first hand experience with the expensive coilovers, but I will say my basic bitch Bilstein 5100/OME coils have held up to everything I've thrown them at here on the east coast.

There's a guy in Fairfax selling his king setup off his 2016 for a reasonable price. I tagged you in the thread, so you should have a notification.

With the cold weather starting to set firmly in place, what does everyone recommend as a good time to swap out summer tires for winter? I've never had two sets, always had all season tires. I know it's still a bit early right now, but I also don't want to be swapping tires using a bottle jack and the cheap tire iron in a snowstorm. Would mid December be too early? Thanks.

Shit, now wouldn't be a bad time because of the colder temps. The rubber in the winter tires performs better than the summer in the cold.

I drove on the stock WRX tires all last winter. I had with no problems even in the one rain/snow/slush storm we had. Don't drive like a crazy man, and you'll be fine. I'm not planning on changing tires for the winter. However, since it's starting to drop to/below freezing regularly, swapping them out now isn't a bad idea.

Ok thanks. I thought it would be a bit early still, but I guess not. I already have a set of OEM takeoffs paired up with some blizzaks, so hopefully we get some snow and I can try them out.

the set up is overkill for what i need and my last offer was 2200 for all and he turned it down since he said he was firm on 2500.
