As this is my first post on the thread I just wanted to inroduce myself. Im from central Illinois and just bought a 2007 2wd 4 cylinder 5 speed. It is a 5 lug and have ran into a problem. I have put multiple lift kits on Jeeps but this is my first Tacoma and I am having trouble finding a lift. Does anyone have the Fat Bob or the Readylift and could give me any reviews on it? Or if there are any other kits I am not aware of. Thanks in advance!

Yes, I have purchased a lift that has been excellent. I've been driving on it for a few months. I bought it from ebay and would recommend it. The only issue I had is when the mechanic told me the rear blocks would not lift the rear end because the leaf springs are below the axle and not above. I have seen some Toyota Tacomas with the leaf spring above the axle, mine not being one of them. Either way, the rear of the truck is level with the front now. If you would like to lift the rear higher than the front, (which is how most trucks come from the factory) I would look for some simple shackles.
