    Morning everyone!

    Enjoy you work day.

Yesterday seemed like a step back. Very tired and cold. No fever, thank God. Hopefully it was a one day issue. Nurse will be here today to do a once over.

Pretty funny reading the wrecker stories. I also used to tow in my younger years. Luckily I was never hit. I did have a car fall on me though. It was a 38 or 39 Chevy that I had to get in Westchester county NY. I was putting it in dollies on a broken garage floor when the jack shifted dropping the car on me while I was under it positioning the dolley. I got pinned but had my head by the tunnel so it didn't get mashed like a watermelon. The owner of the car repositioned the jack and got me out. No broken bones but some nice bruises. Then on the way back to CT the bearings on the dollies let go at 4pm on I95 in Bridgeport CT. I ended up dragging the car all the way back to the garage in the breakdown lane (15 -20 miles) in 1st gear with wobbly wheels on the dolly. They were smoking when I pulled into the yard around 8pm that night... No exaggeration in this either!

Her parents use to live outside of Superior. Went there for xmas. Saw that a storm was coming, I said let' go home a day early. No, mom wants us to stay. That turned out to be a drive that took 3 hours longer than normal. Had to be back to work or lose 4 days holiday pay for xmas and new years.

    :pccoffee: Good morning.

After smoking a 10 pound ham breakfast is going to be the same everyday this week. Guess that is OK.

I keep checking the snow fall depth on the North Shore, still like to get some grouse hunting in this year. As usual 10"-20" this time of year so too deep for the dog to run. As a backup hunt the South Shore in Northern Wi. some years. By the time deer season is over in Wi. more than likely too deep there too. Wish this global warming thing would hurry up and kick in.

What a great Monday this is! Dad is getting discharged today, going home! Infectious disease doc started two antibiotics last Thursday I think it was, and his body responded positively to the meds. Blood platelets jumping up 30k a day! Despite test results not back yet, the meds are what they use to treat lymes. All the symptoms point to lymes. But dad is up and walking around where as before could not even sit up in bed. Dad still has a ways to go. Last week I thought we were going to lose him the one night, our family was on the docs hard. His fever broke Friday and he ain't looking back! I want to thank everyone for their prayers and concerns! This means a lot to me! Top of my thanks list on Thursday.... I have my Father!

I've been seeing many in my bow spot for the past couple weeks including several good bucks. None in the magic circle 'cept for the doe and her twin skippers.
Last Tuesday, my BIL saw 17 in my area when the rut busted loose with 3 rack bucks under my ladder.
Oh well, just have to keep plugging away.

This Saturday, I'm switching gears a bit and hunting slug gun only area of the same watershed area.
They split the season there. "A" season started last Wednesday and goes till this Friday. I have "B" season, starting this Sat. for two weeks.
Doesn't matter, "A" or "B" to me. After opening day, pressure is nearly zero and I've done pretty well in the past.
I picked up a Savage 220 bolt action 20 ga couple years back. That thing is pretty impressive.
